JetSurfer on homemade buoy

How to make a buoy for temporary JetSurf track

If you have a spot where you are allowed to ride your JetSurf but you feel like it’s getting more and more boring to just ride from one side to another then you need to create your own temporary racing track.

You’ll see right the way that the fun you’ll be having is one level higher. You can start racing your friends, time your laps and who knows maybe you’ll love it so much that you’ll try to qualified for MotoSurf WorlCup. We will let you know how to became MotoSurf racer in one of ours next posts.

How to make a buoy

The easiest tip from our own experience:

First, we have ordered basic inflatable buoys (8.5″). You can order them here. We would say six of them is a minimum to create a small track but you can go crazy, get much more and create a long awesome racing track.

Then you’ll need to attach these inflatable buoys to a rope and the other end of the rope tie up to a 4 lbs dumbbell (2 kg). We are using these. Don’t forget to cut the rope longer than the depth of water you’ll be riding in.

After you’ll throw the buoy on the water, the rope will naturally unwind on the exact length of depth.

If you don’t want to wait till your ordered buoys will be delivered you can use plastic bottles instead. Just don’t forget to recycle after 🙂

There are definitely much more options how to make a buoy and we’ll be happy if you’ll leave us your ideas in comments underneath. Thank you.
